Baby Shower

I'm back to continue my recap of our Memorial Day Weekend. On Sunday my mother in law threw us a baby shower with Mike's side of the family. We had a yummy lunch of pulled pork, cole slaw, black beans and other delicious summer foods. My parents drove in town to attend and it was great to have so many family members around. It was especially great to spend time with family we do not get to see very often. We enjoyed lunch and then Mike and I opened many wonderful gifts. One thing is for sure, baby boy has lots of clothes and may have to wear a new outfit every few hours to get through all of them. We are truly blessed. Here is a shot of Mike and myself:

We spent the rest of the day hanging out with family and swimming.

Monday we woke up early to drive up to see our friends Tyler, Jenilee and their new baby Roland. He's about 6 weeks old and doing great! We spent a few hours catching up with them and playing with Roland. Here are a few shots:

We came back to Mike's parents house and spent the rest of Monday and Tuesday morning hanging with the family until driving back Tuesday. We had a great time seeing tons of people. Wish we could do it all of the time!! Who is going to build a teleporter??
